CONDUCTOR

About Our Conductor

Dr. Kenneth Greenlaw has served as conductor and artistic director of the Missouri Choral Society since it's inception in 1971. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Occidental College in Los Angeles.  He was a member of Robert Shaw's Carnegie Hall Centennial Chorus singing the Brahms' German Requiem.  He is a recipient of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce's Distinguished Lifetime Service Award and the Union Electric/St. Charles County Arts Council Award, both for outstanding contributions to the cultural life of the area.

His teaching career spanned 37 years in music education at all grade levels, from kingergarten through graduate school, and an even longer career as a Director of Music and Conductor at various churches in California and Missouri.  He now devotes all of his artistic energies to the Choral Society.
